This article covers preparing events and venues, then scheduling screenings in Kronos (without an external tool).
Events
Events group the activities you schedule (festival, season, special programme, etc.). They scope programmations and reporting.
Sign in to Kronos, then open Administration → Events (/events). Create or update events before scheduling.
Venues
Venues (screens, halls, spaces) are defined in Kronos so each screening can be assigned to a location with the right capacity.
Sign in to Kronos, then open Administration → Places (/places). Create or update venues before scheduling.
Scheduling
Kronos lets customers who do not use — or do not want to use — an external scheduling tool such as Eventival or Fiona manage screenings and events directly in Kronos.
Prerequisites
Before you start scheduling, define:
- the event(s) to schedule;
- your venues / rooms;
- the pricing grids to apply;
- the bucket list templates to use.
Scheduling
Sign in to Kronos, then open Administration → Programmations (/programmation_groups).
Click Add programmation, select the event(s) and time window, then Save.
A detailed form lets you set options (venue, days, times, pricing grid, etc.). Use Add programmation again on the same screen to add sub-schedules — for example the same event in another room or at different times.
