Your ticketing system offers a wide range of features that can be enabled or disabled based on your use case. As an organizer, you are best equipped to understand the specific rules and policies of your events. Therefore, conducting tests, in addition to the ones we perform, is crucial to ensure that everything functions as per your expectations and those of your clients.<\/p>\n

These tests not only ensure proper functionality but also help you familiarize yourself with the current system version. For instance, they can enable you to provide guidance to your staff or clients if needed.<\/p>\n

When should tests be performed?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Tests should be conducted before the production launch of your ticketing system and ideally after any major system updates.<\/p>\n

How should these tests be performed?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We recommend printing this page and using it as a checklist. As you complete each test, tick the corresponding box. It\u2019s best to perform the tests in the order suggested. Feel free to add other tests specific to your use case and skip those that aren\u2019t applicable (e.g., if you don\u2019t use numbered seats or the mobile app).<\/p>\n

What are the recommended tests before going live?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Imports Tests<\/strong><\/p>\n

Create or import a numbered event (at least one per venue), assign a price and location, and verify quotas, rates, and capacities.

Point of Sale Tests<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perform a purchase for a numbered event in each venue and check the seating plan display.
\nPerform a purchase for an unnumbered event.
\nPerform a purchase for each type of subscription and accreditation, verifying that optional and mandatory fields align with your policy.
\nVerify that optional and mandatory fields at checkout (under the cart) match your policy.
\nVerify the layout of purchased tickets (A4 and thermal).
\nVerify the layout of purchased subscriptions (A4 and thermal).
\nRefund the test sales you just made.
\nMake reservations for a numbered event.
\nMake reservations for an unnumbered event.
\nIf events have specific rules, test these by attempting reservations with prohibited ticket types, followed by allowed ones.
