{"id":2211,"date":"2022-03-28T17:11:10","date_gmt":"2022-03-28T15:11:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ticketack.com\/knowledge-base\/how-to-cancel-move-or-postpone-an-event\/"},"modified":"2026-06-04T15:50:52","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T13:50:52","slug":"how-to-cancel-move-or-postpone-an-event","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/ticketack.com\/en\/knowledge-base\/how-to-cancel-move-or-postpone-an-event\/","title":{"rendered":"How to cancel, move or postpone an event?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once ticketing is live, any screening change must be handled carefully to keep bookings consistent and inform ticket holders.<\/p>\n<h2>Postpone or move a screening (date or venue)<\/h2>\n<p>Sign in to <a href=\"https:\/\/ticketack.com\/en\/knowledge-base\/comment-se-connecter-a-linterface-de-gestion-kronos\/\">Kronos<\/a>, then open <strong>Administration<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>Operation<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>Screenings<\/strong> (<a class=\"kb-kronos-path\" href=\"https:\/\/kronos.ticketack.com\/screenings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><code>\/screenings<\/code><\/a>). Open the screening record (<code>\/screenings\/edit\/\u2026<\/code>), change the <strong>date<\/strong> or <strong>venue \/ room<\/strong>, and save.<\/p>\n<p>Kronos then opens the <strong>impact assistant<\/strong> (screening date change or screening place change). A progress screen shows each step and the final outcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> before postponing, you may lower quotas on the screening to stop new sales while you prepare communication.<\/p>\n<h2>Cancel a screening<\/h2>\n<p>The impact assistant covers <strong>postponements<\/strong> and <strong>venue moves<\/strong> (date or room). For a <strong>full cancellation<\/strong> with no immediate replacement, follow your internal process for refunds, booking cancellations and pass holders, then remove or disable the screening.
