How to test a payment on a payment terminal?

With an Ingenico Move 5000 mobile payment terminal

  1. After selecting an electronic payment terminal (EPT) from the sales interface in the top right-hand corner of the EPT menu, click on the payment test
  2. The Eftpos terminal will activate and the amount to be paid of 10 cents will be shown as the amount to be paid on the terminal
  3. You can now either interrupt the transaction by pressing the red button on the terminal to cancel the order (the TPE will display: “interruption, customer stop”), or proceed with a test with a supported credit or debit card. In the latter case, you must then cancel the transaction so as not to create an accounting error: How to cancel the last transaction on a payment terminal?

 

With a Yomani fixed payment terminal

  1. After selecting an electronic payment terminal (EPT) from the sales interface at the top right in the menu relating to EPTs, click on payment test
  2. The Eftpos terminal is activated and the amount to be paid of 10 cents is then indicated on the terminal
  3. You can now either interrupt the transaction by pressing the red button on the terminal to cancel the order (the TPE will display: “interruption, customer stop”), or proceed with a test with a supported credit or debit card.
